about the artist
Thi Mevis-Teuber
Nature has always been a big part of my life. My childhood home is surrounded by an orchard consisting of many different fruit trees. When I was younger my parents and I would spend time together on the roof watching the sun set. From the roof of my house, my family and I could see Haleakala as well as a small glimpse of the ocean. This has grown my appreciation for nature and my ability to recognize beauty in places that I visit everyday, and even the places I only go once a year.
